Conservation Behaviorist
Welcome! I am a PhD candidate passionate about animal behavior and conservation science. This passion drives my commitment to advancing biodiversity initiatives through hypothesis testing and data-driven approaches. Originally from a rural area in southwest Missouri, I specialize in conservation behavior and aim to apply my research to inform wildlife management practices. Throughout my academic career, I have built a strong foundation in collaboration, research design, data analysis, and project management. My hands-on experience in wildlife rehabilitation and veterinary practice has deepened my resolve to implement sustainable conservation strategies. With a proven track record of securing research funding, publishing peer-reviewed work, and mentoring students, I am eager to contribute to mission-driven projects that positively impact our world.
Although free time is a myth for scientists, I like to release my inner old lady when I can by birdwatching, dabbling in amateur wildlife photography, playing board games, and crocheting!
Please reach out if you would like - I enjoy hearing from others also passionate about biology!
